Over 2,000 years ago Jesus became the healer of the sick ones,and helped the poor. The religious leaders are the Pope, Priestand the Pastor. Their places of worship are the church, sanctuary, alter. Christianity is 33% of worlds religion in North America, South America, Europe, Russia, South Africa. The main religion and beliefs are Trinity, God, Father, Son , Holy Ghost. God is the universe, and Jesus is the son of god and saves followers from their sins. Christianity has a God. He is loving, giving, hears all prayer and gives hope. He is a perfect being, creator and ruler of the Universe. Christians use the Bible. It tells how the Earth was created, parables, birth and death of Christ, how christians should live and Christ coming again and the end of the world. Christians go to church on Sunday. Services are held where they hear a sermon, read the Bible, pray, sing hymns and enjoy christian fellowship. Christians celebrate Christmas, the birth of Christ in December, Good Friday and Easter, the crucifixion and rising of Christ from the dead. Lent which is a time of fasting. The symbols of Christianity are the cross, where Christ was crucified, a fish, which first believers use to wear hidden in their clothing, a dove which stands for love. Communion is also a symbol. It stands for the broken body and blood of Christ.
